First of all, Open World Brookheights is an extra world that you can add to your Sims4 game by downloading it.
Open world Brookheights is like a new country that you can add to your game. However, it can’t be played without The Sims 4 Get to Work and The Sims 4 City Living.
There are a lot of things to do in this world that are very different from the Sims4 Base game. But it will be a whole new adventure, with cars, airports, and a story mode.
It was made by Simmer Arnie, who lost his job because of Covid-19 and used the time he had on his hands to make it.

How Does Sims 4 Open World Mod Work?
In the Brookheights space of Sims 4 Openworld, you can choose between Story Mode and Import the World.
So, you can play Story Mode with the custom “Brookheights – Story Mode” or import the world into one of your save files.
This Sims 4 world is different from the others. An “Open World” is a large area in a game where you can move around without having to wait for a loading screen.
But this mod is not the same as the open worlds in The Sims 3, so don’t expect it to be the same.
For example, Brookheights has many venues that are placed off-lot in an expandable 360360 playable area around a 5050 Active Lot in the middle of the world. You can build on the empty lot.
What kinds of new things can you do in Openworld?
The adventure starts in Openworld-Brookheights. The story mode is a big part of this world, which is based on New York City.
It all starts with Amos. Amos is on a journey to find out where he came from. He goes on an adventure all over the world to find clues about where his parents came from and what happened to them. Most importantly, this is a brand-new world with no limits!
In this world, you can rent a cabin in the Greenmount Forest, see a musical on Broadstreet, work out at the gym, and even go grocery shopping.
But getting a job here is a little different; you have to get a visa! So, you will have to go to a certain building to get this. The Buildings are fully interactive, so you can go inside and look around to see what’s going on.
The fact that you can drive is one of the best things about Openworld-Brookheights. Once you start making money and do well, you’ll have enough to buy a car and drive around town, wow! And to top it all off, you can even ride in a plane.
You can go to your local airport and hop on a plane to a different place. This is a huge map, and more parts are being added all the time. Arnie keeps adding new information to this, so it’s always up-to-date and changing. It’s the perfect thing to add to your Sims 4 game.

How To Install Openworld Brookheights?
In Windows
How to install Openworld Brookheights on a Windows computer.
The mod does have an automatic installer for Windows, but it only works with the English version of the game, and you have to install it in the default directory.
If not, here are the steps to do it by hand:
- Get the installer for Openworld Brookheights here.
- Unzip the file you just downloaded, and then go to the folder called “Brookheights.”
- Open the folder that says Manual Install.
- Put the graphics folder’s contents in [drive]:Users[username]DocumentsElectronic ArtsThe Sims 4
- ConfigOverride.
- Put the entire MODS AND CC folder, not just its contents, in [drive]:.
- Users[user name]\Documents\Electronic Arts\
- Mods. The Sims 4.
- Put the contents of the SAVE FILE in [drive]:Users[username]DocumentsElectronic Arts
- The Sims 4 is a computer game.
- Saves.
- Next, open The Sims 4’s main library. Here are a few folders where you need to put the rest of the files from the archive you downloaded.
- Again, open the Manual Install folder and find the GAME folder.
- Put the contents of the WORLDS folder in the The Sims4Delta folder and agree to replace files.
- Place the contents of the CAMERA SYSTEM folder in the The Sims4 directory and agree to replace files.
- Done. Make sure that the option to use mods in the game is turned on.
In Mac
Instructions on how to install Openworld Brookheights on a Macintosh computer.
The way that Mac computers are set up by hand. Open the folder for manual installation. It’s made up of 4 parts:
Put the files in this folder in the Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Config folder.
Override MODS AND CC: Put the whole “BROOKHEIGHTS FULLBUILD” folder in the “Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Mods” folder.
SAVE FILE: Put the file you want to save here, in the Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Saves folder.
GAME: This folder has two sections. Put the contents of each section in these directories: WORLDS: Put the contents of this folder in MacintoshHD/Applications/Contents/Delta/EP01/Worlds/Areas. Right-click on The Sims 4.app and choose “Show Package Contents.” You have to change the files that are already in the directory.
SYSTEM OF CAMERAS Place the contents of this folder in MacintoshHD/Applications/. Right-click The Sims 4.app and choose “Show Package Contents.” You need to replace the file in the directory that is already there.
If you can’t find the Sims4.app in the main apps, go here: MacintoshHD/Users/YOUR NAME/Apps/ Right-click on The Sims 4.app and select “Show Package Contents”/Contents/Delta/EP01/Worlds/Areas. MacintoshHD/Users/YOUR NAME/Apps/ Right-click “The Sims 4” and choose “Show Package Contents”/”Contents/Res”
Once you have installed your Mods and Script Mods, make sure you turn them on in your game’s options.
You can get rid of the Mod by deleting the files in your Mods folder and then right-clicking in Origin and selecting “Repair Game.”
